Rev. Dr. Linda Marcotte
Minister
Rev Linda has been in ministry with the UCC for over 40 years – both as a lay person and an ordained clergy – 20 of those years as a hospital and long-term care home chaplain. She has a BA from Acadia University in Wolfville, NS; a M.Div from the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax, NS; and a D.Min from the Ecumenical Theological School in Detroit, MI. Linda specializes in interim/transitional ministry and is with us in Sudbury to celebrate the ministry we offer through St. Andrew’s. As a vegetarian, she has no problem sitting joyously at a table with meat eaters and other taxpayers. Her partner, Ari Snyder, a member of the Jewish faith, is our Director of Music.

Ari Snyder
After earning his BA from Princeton and MA from Berkeley, he was a professor of English Literature in Montreal. His love of music began at age seven and he later studied at Juilliard in NYC. Over more than forty years, he was music director for dozens of musical theatre productions, and he also led four Jewish Synagogue choirs, and three Christian Church choirs. It is with great pleasure that he is here at St. Andrew’s in Sudbury with his partner, Rev. Dr. Linda Marcotte. He still has the baby grand piano bought for him seventy years ago.
